IsMe Beauty & Cafe @ Bukit Bintang
When Jean invited me to do a food review at this new place in town, I was like, "Yeah sounds great but where is it exactly?". So I got lost. I walked passed it.. twice without realising it. Located next to Hotel Royal, Bukit Bintang, to the left of Lot 10, is IsMe Beauty & Cafe. It is Malaysia's first womens' style cafe which combines both beauty and the concept of healthy eating. It's a very Korean concept which targets women, the beauty market and some socialising in between.
The themed white and blue interior looks neat and relaxing. The amount of natural light pouring in during the day is great especially if you want to take food photos.. or selfies. The cafe offers hot food, desserts and coffee. In absence of a proper kitchen, hot foods are kept simple, light and healthy. Food starts from RM12.90. Desserts are homemade and are less rich than what you would normally expect.

The coffee is good. They use a house blend. Options are kept light to cater for women who don't really fancy rich full bodied type of coffees. I also got to make my own latte with some help from Tarick the barista. Apart from the really simple latte art I had some help with, it wasn't exactly a new experience for me. Although it did bring back memories of my part time job in a fab little cafe in London years back which I had loads of fun with. One of the best times ever.

IsMe Beauty & Cafe have also recently introduced their skincare range called Cuscos which incorporates swarovski zirconia into the formulation. I'm not sure how it works though, will get back to you guys if and when I find out more.
It's a nice place to hang out especially when it's quieter in the afternoons. I suppose it's a good option if you want to get some work done too or just have a girly session.
